Council tax energy rebate payments

Council tax energy rebate payments due to start. Residents who pay by Direct Debit will receive the payment directly into their account. Everyone else will receive a voucher to cash in at the Post Office.

BADAS: Painting with a Palette Knife:

The Birstall and District Art Society also known as BADAS are an amazing local art group who explore different art techniques. They aim to share the love they have for art with the wider community through the exciting events they have planned over the coming months that the public can come see.

 

On the 14th of June Tas Severis, a professional artist who works from his Nottingham studio, will be painting one of his signature coastal artworks which are very popular with buyers and collectors which visitors can witness come to life first hand. This will be a great opportunity for both those new to professional art and experts to come experience Tas Severis’s fantastic works.

BADAS are a friendly group and currently have some vacancies for membership. As well as the monthly demonstration evenings, the group have a get together for Friday morning painting sessions and there is an opportunity to sign up for Monday classes. they also run trips, plein air sketching sessions and social events. As a member, you can also participate in their prestigious annual exhibition. If you are interested in joining, why not come along to one of their demonstration evenings?
